ABOUT
John Corcoran, artist and craftsman lives and works in the Hudson Valley of New York. With a passion for creating beauty in the world with many and varied materials, John builds houses, draws, makes silverware and jewelry, belts, furniture, sculpture, maple syrup, keeps bees, grows garlic and mushrooms, fixes what’s broken, writes too.
A friend, watching John at work one day, began calling him “Everything Johnny”. And the name stuck. “It’s all the same: a sketch or a spoon or a necklace,” John says, “Early on I found that I didn’t want to do just one thing; I wanted to do everything.”
